After the election – #EndAusterityNow

The Trades Council, as Darlington against Cuts, has organised a meeting on Tuesday 2nd June, 7.30pm, at the Friends Meeting House, to discuss how we organise to fight back against the cuts.

Now we have a Tory government we can expect the attacks on democracy, trade unions, working conditions , living standards, and the public sector (resulting in more job losses and worse services, to be accelerated). Darlington Borough Council is to face a planned £14million pounds of cuts, we can expect more to follow this.

The meeting is aimed at all trade unionist, political, and community, activists regardless of their political affiliation.

We are aiming for maximum unity.
